Natalie is currently a doctoral researcher looking at responsibility for healthy eating in the food system and influences on people's food choices. She is doing her PhD at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, thanks to a college scholarship.
Prior to this, Natalie did an MPhil in Public Health at the University of Cambridge where she researched epidemiological and behavioural aspects of sexual health. She also received an MA from the University of Sussex, during which she explored the ways in which culture determines attitudes to obesity.
Natalie returned to academic study after a successful ten-year career in the field of nutrition; working with individual clients, writing books and articles, presenting three television series, appearing on tv and radio as an expert and giving seminars internationally.
